Short Ribs and BBQ Sauce for Crock Pot Meals
Begin heating your crockpot on high while you prepare the following ingredients:
Brown 4 pounds of shortribs in 2 tablespoons oil in the crock pot or in a hot skillet.
Place the ribs in the crock pot.
Add ½ cup sliced celery and ½ cup sliced or chopped onions
Combine the following and pour over the ribs in the crock pot:
!/2 cup catsup
4 tablespoons vinegar
1 teaspoon Worchestershire sauce
1/8 teaspoon chili powder
2 cups water
Turn the heat on the crock pot down to low.
Cook on low for 7-8 hours.
Makes 6-8 servings.
